A new iPhone is coming – and we have a pretty good idea of what it’s going to look like.
So fasten your seatbelts, Apple fans.

In September, we will probably see the launch of the iPhone 16.
We won’t know for sure until the big day, but thanks to leaks, rumors, and a little bit of educated guesswork, there’s a lot to look forward to.
What we do know for sure is that the iPhone 16 will run on Apple’s new iOS 18 software.
That’s because the company announced it earlier this year and it’s expected to launch on the new iPhone.
This means that at least some versions of the iPhone 16 will have something called Apple Intelligence.
This is an AI feature that allows you to create custom emoji with AI and even generate illustrations of your friends and family.
You will be able to ask ChatGPT questions directly with the help of Siri and talk to Siri in a much more natural way.
The new update also lets you change the color of app icons on the home screen and place them outside the usual grid order.
And you can schedule text messages and more.
FRESH APPLE
As usual, we will likely see the iPhone 16 available in different sizes.

Normally this means two cheaper modelsas well as two more expensive and more powerful Pro devices.
There is no evidence that the format will change, it is also rumored that the Pro models could grow slightly in terms of screen size.
We also expect Apple to switch to vertical lenses on the iPhone 16, rather than the current camera layout that has them offset diagonally.
We hope this means that the regular iPhone 16 models will be able to shoot sophisticated 3D space videos that you can watch inside Apple’s Vision Pro headset, just like the current iPhone 15 Pro.

We’ll likely still see a color range across all four iPhone 16 models, though rumors have it that the Pro devices will get a new Pink option.
BIG BUTTON
The iPhone 16 is expected to get the action button that replaces the mute switch.
We saw this on the iPhone 15 Pro last year. It’s a great feature because you can make it do pretty much anything: open the camera, launch Shazam, or call your mom for a call Good cat.

We could also potentially see a new capture button for taking photos.
A major upgrade will come in the form of an all-new processor.
This year, we’re expecting the A18 chip, which will likely bring some improvements in performance and battery life, as well as a bit more computing power to power some of the new AI. features.
We don’t have pricing information yet, but we expect retail costs to be roughly similar to last year.

Expect a reveal on Tuesday, September 10, pre-orders on September 13, and an in-store release on Friday, September 20.
